Decides to be difficult. FJKLADJFDKJAS;FD;AS. I had a crapload of sketches I wanted to upload, too, and I'd post pictures of my paintings if I stopped being too lazy to go grab my phone's USB cord. The sketches included Desier, an OC from an original story I want to adapt into my novel (which I will, me and my friend Judy came up with hilarious ways he and Luther could interact). Desier was inspired by Princess Mononoke and lived in a place called the Greatwood home to many, many different mystic creatures of titanic proportions. The Greatwood as Desier knows it is only a "shade" of what the great valley of Vallis (which means "valley" in Latin LOL) once was in milennia past, coming into contact with Luther's Vallis through a magical backlash as epic as Odysseus's journey. In a short little venture in primitive Vallis, Desier comes to Luther's Vallis and finds his own way to live.

There was also a sketch of Aster contemplating Ratatosk's core, a random sketch of Edward (my OC, NOT THAT FJKLADSJFKLJDSAFJADLSJF;JA;SFJ;ASFKDSJAFJS;JF;LASJFLKAJS "vampire."), and one of a griffin (also from my novel) named Razorfeather, colored like golden sand with black feather tips and markings around the face. Still undecided if Razorfeather's a girl or boy griffin. Looks like a girl, though.

Other than that, bought a few books (The Black Gryphon by Mercedes Lackey; really liked it, MUST BUY NEXT TWO BOOKS, and a guidebook to gemstones  ), read them, need moar to read. So I've been actually working on my novel. I finally have all the pieces I want in place with a basic plot to follow outlined so I don't need to change anything around so much anymore. And I have a beginning I actually like, where you get a basic idea of Luther and co's lives for the past decade, see Reno's erratic personality (bumming blacksmith workshops at any time of day or night haha) and he begins teaching Luther magic. Where I conveniently get to tell readers about how magic works in my story.

I had this elaborate thing based on chakras (no, not Naruto chakras >_<;) with magical energy being in the spine. I went with something simpler instead, which I'm too lazy to explain. Only your pretty golden ring with a pretty jewel is the source of your unfathomable power as a mage, if your magic doesn't break it. Other objects can be used, living or nonliving, but jewels and metals are the main mediums of magic. Cause they, y'know, came from the planet's blood, so to speak.

That, and I'm procrastinating my Spanish homework and drinking too much cream soda.

I still think you should play Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Even though I raise my eyebrow at some of the dialogue scenes... And the part I'm at in the story Edge is being a dumbass...

IT'S NOT MY FAULT IT'S NOT MY FAULT

IT IS MY FAULT, IT IS MY FAULT XD

I really do want to play it, but I got Second Evolution instead because Last Hope was like $60 and I had twenty-something on me. Either I can ask my sister (who works at gamestop) to either borrow it or give me a discount.

I watched almost all of the story scenes, though (left off right before final boss, I'm guessing).

I can't blame Edge for being disturbed any more than I can blame Luke for not wanting to disappear. If Edge had not interfered, then that Earth, even if it was only in another dimension (backup Eternal Sphere data?), would not have been destroyed. Moreover, it leads up to the creation of the UP3~

Fortunately, the villains are more than happy to postpone their plans of world domination while you spend a year shopping for makeup.

Yeah, but Luke pitched a fit that lasted for like 4 maybe 5 scenes and he did keep whining about it periodically throughout the story... Edge on the other hand keeps whining about it and refuses to "get involved"... Sometimes the act of merely observing is interference enough, I'm surprised Bacchus didn't tell him that... Truth be told what happened on Lemuris should've been advance warning enough for him to be careful about what actions he sets in motion...

And I suppose everyone would've been fine with the captain staying put on the ship while everybody else risks their necks in whatever shenanigans they get involved with?

What happened on Lemuris wasn't entirely his fault, either. It only makes sense to seek out the source of the illness, and nobody had any idea what would happen. It was an accident. What happened on the alternate Earth, however, was entirely Edge's fault, no accident, because he deliberately agreed to hand over advanced technology to people who didn't understand it.

Luke and Edge do get depressed and emo and complain for a good long while. And I'm sure you and everybody else who hates them for that would still be all right and good and in your right mind when you murdered ten thousand people plus a billion more on an entire planet. Uh-huh. Perfectly reasonable.

I'm saying that Edge continues to wince over it longer than necissary and contrary to Luke who still manages to get up and get things done he flat out refuses to do anything after the fact... I know if something like that happened while I was in control I'd feel like the universes biggest ass, but would that stop me from trying to make up for what I did? Hell NO!!! I believe Sarah said it best "The only person who benefits from regret is yourself, but if you act others can benefit from what you do..."
